Desku is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Desku mobile application ("App"), how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. How Desku Works

Desku is a fully offline, device-local application. All data you enter — clients, shifts, tasks, income records, and invoices — is stored in a database on your device only. Desku does not have a user account system, does not require a password, and does not sync your data to any server or cloud service.

Your identity within the App is represented by a randomly generated unique identifier created on your device the first time you open the App. This identifier never leaves your device.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide During Onboarding

When you first open Desku, the onboarding flow collects:

• Name — displayed on your home dashboard and exported reports
• Default currency — your preferred currency for income and invoice tracking
• Default timezone — used for shift scheduling and reminders
• Optional first client — name, rate type, rate amount, and currency

This information is saved to a local database on your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party.

2.2 Information You Enter While Using the App

All records you create in the App are stored locally on your device:

• Client records — names, company names, contact emails, timezones, rates, payment terms, communication channels, and notes
• Shift records — client assignment, start time, end time, timezone, repeat schedule, and reminder settings
• Task records — titles, descriptions, due dates, priorities, statuses, and client assignments
